All of our tutors specialize in LD, ADHD, gifted, and / or alternative learners. 


Sandra Ashe tutors speech writing and delivery in all grade levels; reading comprehension for grades 4-8, history, political science, and written expression.

Dr. Marlene Caplan teaches English grade 7 through graduate school.

Jeff Ciaco tutors physics, chemistry, and math.

Bonnie Cohen-Greenberg tutors students with learning disabilities from ages 4 -12 and works with students who have health impairments, head injuries, Asperger's syndrome, nonverbal learning disabilities, bi-polar disorder, and teaches study skills through adulthood. Ms. "Bonnie" is currently pursuing her doctorate degree.

Ms. Denise tutors students from kindergarten through grade 4.

Dana Edwards teaches reading using the Orton Gillingham method.

Haydee Marie ("Tutty") Feliciano tutors Spanish.

Sue Frederick tutors students in reading, language arts, and study skills. She coaches students with ADHD, conducts Functional Behavior assessments, and develops Behavioral Intervention Plans

Stacey Goldring is an early intervention educational consultant and works with children starting at nine months of age.

Waynette Helms tutors biology, anatomy and physiology, physical science, and middle school life science. She is also tutoring students to prepare them for the biology and physical science end- of- course test and the science portion of the exit exam.

Joan Hinshaw focuses on all middle school subjects and study skills throughout the grades. She also coaches for standardized tests including the SAT.

Ellen Hurst teaches reading using Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Language, and Lindamood-Bell methods of instruction. She also tutors Everyday Math program.

Gloria Lassiter tutors students in grades 6-12 in all math subjects.

Elizabeth ("Betsey") Rothchild Lessans teaches French.

Dr. Karen Hubbard Michael is a literacy specialist.

Dr. Tamara L. Mills provides assistive technology and occupational therapy services.

Jane McElhannon tutors English.

Melisa McGuire tutors English, study skills, social studies, and French.

Kathy Murphy works with students who have been diagnosed with Asperger's, autism, traumatic head injuries, and ADHD syndrome.

Loretta Phillips specializes in the Orton Gillingham approach for teaching reading. She is certified in teaching reading.

Linda Rogers teaches study skills.

Jernita Randolph tutors Algebra III, pre-calculus, calculus, physical science, chemistry, and anatomy.

Annette Ranger tutors high school chemistry and all middle school sciences.

Dr. Michael Roty tutors math from middle school through post-college level.

Vicky Stathis tutors biology, anatomy, and life science.

Mary Scherer tutors math from middle school through high school.

Dr. Karen Stewart works with students in chemistry, physical science, anatomy, zoology, and middle school math.

Allyson Williams teaches English (literature and writing) and coaches the verbal part of the SAT.
